At Chantrey House Nursery we offer a broad, healthy but appetising menu. All of our meals are freshly prepared and cooked onsite in our purpose built kitchen by Linda our experienced cook. We encourage the children to eat a varied diet and explore the different tastes of foods. Children set their own table and help themseleves to their lunch with practitioners supervision. Linda enjoys making lunch with the children helping in a safe environment, for example vegetable pizza. Snack times include, crackers, fruit, toast, bagels, vegetable sticks and snacks from around the world such as poppadoms and vegetable samosas. In the pre school room the children are allowed to prepare their own snack, with support from practitioners, children can peel, cut fruit and vegetables and spread margarine on their toast or crackers. below is a sample of our menu.
